Renegade Craft Fair – San Francisco

Hello Left Coasters – we are headed your way, once again and we cannot wait to be there! We’ll be on your lovely side of the country for two weekends in a row. First up is Renegade Craft Fair in San Francisco and the following weekend we’ll be in Los Angeles for the Renegade Craft Fair there (check out the post on that here). Hopefully we’ll see some of you there. Be sure to follow us on Twitter to keep up with our travels and to find out about some exclusive Renegade deals!

On July 9 + 10, 2011, from 11am – 7pm, The Renegade Craft Fair will return to Fort Mason Center Festival Pavilion for the 4th Annual San Francisco Fair! The best makers of handmade goods from the Bay and beyond will assemble for our free-to-attend marketplace celebration of indie-craft culture! Hero will once again be in attendance and we couldn’t be more excited. We absolutely love San Fran and it’s very lovely people!

We will have the usual Hero wares like gigposters, art prints, greeting cards and clothing and we will even have some new stuff like a San Francisco art print, a wine-themed print, new tees, totes and lots more! Check out the map below to see where our booth is inside the Fort Mason Pavilion.

At the Fair, attendees can get crafty by participating in a number of interactive workshops, and find inspiration from local independent businesses who keep the city by the bay in the loop with all-things creative!

The Museum of Craft and Design will be back with their MakeArt station, where attendees can create their own miniature accordion-style journals, or test their hand at the art of quilling 3D paper flowers.

Accessorize With Small Toys will return to the Fair with their tiny do-dads in tow, and assist visitors in making art and accessories from repurposed toys. Attendees are encouraged to bring rubber or plastic toy parts to work with, or contribute!

Not to be missed is a curated selection of artist’s wares from the Renegade Handmade Store (www.renegadehandmade.com), given away via numerous free raffles taking place over the course of the weekend.

Attendees can also commemorate their trip to The Renegade Craft Fair by visiting the free photo booth provided by The Magnolia Photo Booth Co., or relive their youth at the Fair’s free Friendship Bracelet Making Booth provided by The Renegade Gang!

Tante’s, Ms. D’s Fabulous Catering, and Neetos Café will be on-site providing attendees with tasty food, including several vegetarian options. Beer and wine will be available for purchase as well!

****AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PARKING**** Please note that while there is parking available at Fort Mason, it can fill up quickly due to there being many events happening there throughout the weekend. Please plan ahead, and carpool or take public transportation if possible!
