This blog post is way overdue. About 7 episodes overdue to be exact. Aside from being co-owner of Hero Design Studio, I now have a new title of being the co-host of the Adventures In Design Podcast. The A.I.D. Podcast is a project that I started with my great friend Billy Baumann of Chicago’s Delicious Design League. Our two studios have spent endless nights together, hanging out on the road, while doing music and art festivals all across the US. Most nights end with a conversation that we’ve been having for the past 5 years, an ongoing conversation about our beloved industry and the fine folks that make up our community of designers, illustrators, print makers, outlaws, carnies and scumbags. Towards the end of last summer, Billy emailed me saying that we should start a podcast, when he insisted that my name should always be listed first and that he wanted to be Andy Richter to my Conan O’Brien, I knew right then and there that kid was onto something great! So, please sit back, kick back and subscribe to our podcast about the world of design that we love so much! And please oh please feel free to be a part of the conversation by tweeting us @AIDpodcast or liking us on FaceBook. We look forward to having you in our conversation and being a part of our circle of trust.
